What this policy covers
This policy covers jxn.tech and the emails, calls, and meetings we have with people interested in JXN. It does not cover information the JXN platform handles for the communities we serve, such as resident and care records. Our agreements with those communities govern that information.
Information you give us
When you request a consultation, we collect your name, work email, organization, and, if you add them, your role and how many communities you operate. We also keep the emails you send us, notes from our calls, meetings you book with us, and messages you send through the chat on this site.
Information collected automatically
- Vercel Web Analytics records page views and a few interactions, such as playing a video or clicking a button, along with your device type, browser, operating system, country, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link. It does not use cookies or identify you.
- Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly pages load, so we can keep the site fast.
- PostHog records the pages you view, what you click, how much of our videos you watch, and a recording of your visit (what appears on the screen, mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks) so we can see how people use the site. Recordings hide anything you type into a form. PostHog sets its own cookie to recognize your browser. If you submit our form, or open a link in an email we sent you, PostHog connects your visits, past and future, to your email address.
- HubSpot sets cookies (hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, and __hssrc) that recognize your browser when you return and record the pages you view and when. If you submit our form, or open a link in an email we sent you, HubSpot connects those visits to your contact record. Our email links may carry your email address for this purpose; we remove it from the address bar as soon as the page loads.
- If you use the chat on this site, HubSpot records the conversation.
- Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when the fonts load.
How we use it
We use this information to answer your requests, follow up about JXN, schedule and prepare for meetings, understand which pages and messages are useful, and improve the site.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We use a few service providers that process it for us: HubSpot (contact records, email, meetings, chat, and site tracking), PostHog (site analytics and visit recordings), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google Workspace (email), and Google Fonts (fonts). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact information, and the site activity tied to it in HubSpot and PostHog (pages viewed, clicks, video viewing, and visit recordings), while we have a business relationship with you or your organization, or until you ask us to delete it. Vercel Web Analytics keeps only anonymous counts.
Your choices
- To stop hearing from us, reply to any email and say so, or write to cole@jxn.tech.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- To see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, email cole@jxn.tech.
Do Not Track
This site does not currently change what it collects in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal. The service providers listed above collect information about your activity on this site over time, on our behalf. We do not use them to follow you across other websites.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
